DARPA has developed a 12-ton autonomous tank named RACER Heavy Platform. The tank, controlled by artificial intelligence, underwent testing in Texas. DARPA has been involved in creating RACER since 2004. The U.S. aims to build an army of unmanned combat vehicles to engage in battle without risking human lives.
