Russian Ministry allocates 1.39 billion rubles for open-source software projects, opts out of creating own GitHub platform

The Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media decided not to create its own GitHub platform, despite allocating 1.39 billion rubles for the project. Instead, they plan to utilize existing public repositories in Russia. The funds from Rosinfocominvest will be directed towards Russian open-source software projects.
