NASA reports that spacecraft refueling in space will occur next year, following ambitious plans by Elon Musk and SpaceX. SpaceX will supply Starship spacecraft for NASAs Artemis program to land Americans on the Moon. Starship is designed for in-space refueling and reusability for multiple missions. This technical achievement will enable the U.S. to accumulate spacecraft in orbit and eventually send the entire SpaceX fleet to Mars to establish an autonomous colony.
